Steps
Hold a pre-event check
Confirm performance time, performers, microphones, instruments, and who will approve sound levels before the event begins.
Prepare the X32 scene
Recall or build the live event scene. Confirm input names, output routing, monitor sends, and safe main output levels.
Do not overwrite the default scene. Save event changes under a clear event name.
Set up microphones
Place microphones for mainstage performers, ensemble sources, or speech. Keep stands stable and route cables away from walking paths.
Run line, mic, and monitor checks
Check one source at a time. Confirm signal at the X32, speaker output, and monitor path before the room is active.
Operate the live mix
During the event, make small adjustments only. Watch for feedback, keep vocals clear, and avoid sudden volume changes.
Record if needed
If multi-track recording is requested, open Logic Pro before the event and test recording. Keep recording running through the full performance.
Tear down and restore
Save recordings, power down according to the closing flow, return microphones and stands, then restore the default X32 scene.
