Steps
Choose the practice type
For keyboard practice, use the PSR-SX700 or another assigned keyboard. For acoustic practice, take the instrument from its rack or case carefully.
Set up headphones and volume
Plug in headphones before playing if the instrument has a headphone output. Start with the volume low and raise it slowly.
Do not practice at loud levels. If others can hear your headphones clearly, it is too loud.
Practice with a clear goal
Pick one target: timing, melody, chord changes, tone, or a difficult section. Short focused practice is better than playing randomly.
Use percussion safely
For congas, bongos, maracas, and tambourine, keep the instruments on stable surfaces. Do not stack percussion in unstable piles.
Return everything
Power off electronic instruments, unplug headphones, and return every instrument to its designated position before leaving.
